Studio Sargis transformed the tasting room and bar at Chattermark Distillery into a modern speakeasy rooted in history and craft. Deep plum walls, warm industrial lighting, and patterned bar stools establish a rich, atmospheric backdrop, while leather seating and vintage details add texture and depth.

The name Chattermark—a radio call signal used to change channels—reflects owner John’s shift from law to distilling. That idea of reinvention shapes the space: layered, intentional, and built to feel both discovered and deliberate. The result is a bar designed for slowing down, connecting, and experiencing the spirit of the brand firsthand.

Layered seating and warm lighting create intimate pockets within the open plan. Through the glass, the distilling floor and stacked barrels remain in view, grounding the lounge in the craft behind the bar.

Subtle references to John’s aviation background appear throughout the space, while reclaimed stage lights focus attention on the bar as the room’s anchor.
